Boost Cleaning Melbourne – Terms & Conditions

 

By booking a service with Boost Cleaning Melbourne, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.

  1. Services Provided

Boost Cleaning Melbourne provides professional cleaning services based on a standard service checklist. Our services are designed for cleaning purposes and do not include restoration or repair work.

 

The following items are not included unless quoted separately:

  • Mold removal
  • Heavy stain restoration
  • Repairs or maintenance
  • Biohazard or unsafe cleaning
  • External pressure washing
  • Wall washing
  • Blind washing
  • External windows
  • Removal of rubbish or personal belongings

 

Additional services such as carpet steam cleaning, upholstery cleaning, flea treatment, or appliance cleaning must be requested in advance.

Permanent stains, aging surfaces, and pre-existing damage cannot be guaranteed to improve.

 

  1. Property Requirements

The property must be accessible and reasonably cleared for cleaning.

Clients must ensure:

  • Large items and rubbish are removed
  • Furnished properties are disclosed at booking
  • Electricity and running water are connected
  • The environment is safe for staff

 

If utilities are disconnected or access is unavailable on arrival, the appointment will be treated as a cancellation and an $60 fee may apply.

Properties that are heavily neglected or unsafe may be re-quoted or declined.

  1. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are based on the information provided by the client.

Final pricing may change if the condition, size, or scope differs from what was described at booking. Any changes will be discussed before work continues.

Travel charges may apply for key collection or locations outside the normal service area.

  1. Payment Terms

Payment is required on arrival unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Work may be delayed or paused until payment is received.

Late payments may attract additional fees.

  1. Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Same-day cancellations, denied access, or disconnected utilities may incur an $60 cancellation charge.

  1. 7-Day Cleaning Guarantee

Boost Cleaning Melbourne provides a 7-day guarantee for inspection-related cleaning issues within the agreed service scope.

Clients must notify us within 7 days and allow us the opportunity to return and rectify.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Wear and tear
  • Permanent stains
  • Property damage
  • Aging surfaces
  • Items outside the booked service

 

If a third-party cleaner is hired before we are contacted, the guarantee is void.

  1. Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Steam cleaning improves hygiene and appearance but cannot guarantee removal of permanent stains or odours.

Drying times vary depending on ventilation and weather conditions. Clients accept responsibility for drying time after service.

  1. Access Responsibilities

Clients must provide correct access instructions and secure pets and valuables before service.

If access cannot be gained at the scheduled time, the visit will be treated as a cancellation.

  1. Liability

Boost Cleaning Melbourne is insured for cleaning operations. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Fragile or unstable fixtures not disclosed
  • Wear and aging surfaces
  • Items left unsecured in the property
  • Damage caused by faulty or poorly maintained fittings
  1. Complaints and Rectification

Any concerns must be reported within 7 days with photos where possible.

We will arrange a return visit if the issue falls within the original cleaning scope.

Refunds are not issued without the opportunity to re-attend.

  1. Documentation

We may take before-and-after photos for quality control and dispute resolution. Photos are kept for internal records only.
